Beer pong, also known as beirut, is a unique collage of throwing balls into cups, intense competition, social relaxation, and witty psyche-outs. The game is simple, yet it can be intense. Two two-man teams stand at opposite ends of a table (commonly ranging from 6 feet to 10 feet in length) and take turns attempting to lob a table tennis ball into a formation of cups arranged at their opponent's end of the table. The cups are often partially filled (1/4-1/3 a cup) with a liquid, often beer (hence the name), to keep the cups from falling over. If a player successfully lobs a ball into a cup, the cup is removed from the formation. The team to sink all its opponent's cups first is declared the winner.
W e built BPONG.COM because of our love for beer pong (a.k.a. beirut), regardless of how it’s played. Our mission at BPONG.COM, therefore, is to unite all beer pong players of the world without discriminating* based on race, sex, religion, penis size, how you play the game, or what you call the game. We strive to focus on the positive aspects of the game – the competition, the socialization, the fun – while encouraging people to make responsible decisions if and when they choose to drink. The content and views expressed on BPONG.COM are only expressions of some variations of the game, and while some of the ideas expressed on BPONG.COM are great ideas, they are by no means limitations on how the game is or should be played (they are only some variations to how some people play the game).
*BPONG.COM does openly discriminate against those that are not open minded enough to realize that their version of the game or what they call the game is not the ONLY way to play and/or not the ONLY thing to call the game.
